कोहरे में करना पड़ रहा है ड्राइव, तो सुरक्षित रहने के लिए इन बातों का रखें विशेष ध्यान
उत्तर भारत में इन दिनों कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ रही है। दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत देश के कई राज्यों में इन दिनों लोगों को घने कोहरे का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। कोहरे की वजह से विजिबिलिटी बहुत कम हो जाती है, जिससे वाहन चालकों को काफी दिक्कत होती है। यदि किसी कारण आपको भी कोहरे में गाड़ी चलनी पड़ जाए तो जानिए इस दौरान गाड़ी को सुरक्षित कैसे मंजिल तक पहुंचाए।
आइए जानते हैं कुछ टिप्स, जिन्हें आपको ठंड और कोहरे में ड्राइविंग के दौरान रखना है ध्यान में-
1. वाहन की गति धीमी रखें
ठंड में वाहन चलाते समय सबसे जरूरी बात यही है कि आप वाहन की गति धीमी रखें। वाहन को कम ही स्पीड में ड्राइव करें। स्पीड उतनी ही रखें, जिससे अचानक कोई खतरा सामने आने पर आप समय रहते गाड़ी रोक सकें। दरअसल कोहरे की वजह से हमें आगे चलने वाले वाहन दूर से नहीं दिखते। कई बार एकदम नजदीक की विजिबिलिटी भी खराब होती है। ऐसे में स्पीड में चलने पर आपकी गाड़ी आगे चल रही गाड़ी से टकरा सकती है।
2. वाहन की हेडलाइट्स को लो बीम पर रखें
जब आप कोहरे में वाहन चला रहे हो तो तेज लाइट हाईबीम रोशनी से बचें। हाईबीम रोशनी कोहरे में पानी की बूंदों को प्रतिबिंबित करती हैं। इसके कारण आंखे चौंधिया जाती हैं और सामने देखना बड़ा कठिन हो जाता है। रोड पर कम दृश्यता होने के दौरान लो बीम रोशनी का उपयोग करना अधिक समझदारी का काम होता है। दरअसल कोहरे में अगर लाइट हाई बीम पर रहेगी तो एडजस्टमेंट करते वक्त आंखों पर ज्यादा जोर पड़ता है। इससे आपको दिक्कत हो सकती है।
3. गाड़ी में लगवाएं फॉग लैंप
फॉग लैंप कोहरे में कार चलाने के दौरान काफी मददगार होते हैं। इसके चलते कोहरे में रास्ता साफ दिखाई देता है। यह गाड़ी के दोनों तरफ लगे होते हैं। अगर यह फीचर आपके कार में नहीं है तो इसे आप कार मार्केट जाकर भी लगवा सकते है. इससे कोहरे में कार चलाने पर विजिबिलिटी बढ़ जाती है।
4. डिफॉगर ऑन कर लें
कोहरे में कार चलाने के दौरान डिफॉगर ऑन रखें, ये शीशे के तापमान को बढ़ा देते हैं, इस वजह से उन पर धुंध नहीं जमती। आगे वाले शीशों पर अंदर की तरफ से जमने वाली धुंध को कार के हीटर और एयर वेंटिलेशन मोड को बदलकर हटाया जा सकता है। इसके अलावा शीशा साफ करने के लिए कपड़ा साथ लेकर चलना भी अच्छा रहता है।
5.रोड पर रखें पूरा फोकस
कोहरे में वाहन चलाने के दौरान अपना पूरा फोकस आपको रोड पर ही होना चाहिए। आपको ऐसी किसी भी गतिविधि से दूर रहना चाहिए जिससे आपका ध्यान बंटता हो। जब आपके वाहन के चारों ओर अंधाधुंध कोहरा हो तो सतर्क रहना चाहिए। जैसे ड्राइविंग के दौरान फोन पर बात, कोई वीडियो (Video) देखना या कार में पीछे बैठे शख्स से पीछे मुड़-मुड़कर बातचीत करना। आपको इनमें से कुछ भी करने से बचना चाहिए।
6.अपनी लेन का विशेष ध्यान रखें
आपको कार ड्राइव करते समय सड़क पर अपनी ही लाइन में चलना चाहिए। इससे आपके पीछे चलने वाली गाड़ियों को भी आसानी होती है। आपको बता दें कि सेफ ड्राइविंग के लिए सड़कों पर पीले रेडियम लगाए जाते हैं। कोहरे में कार ड्राइव वक्त अगर आप इन लाइट्स को फॉलो करेंगी तो दुर्घटना से भी बची रहेंगी।
7. वाहन के शीशे साफ़ रखें
गाड़ी के शीशे हमेशा साफ रखें। वाहन के शीशे गंदे रहने के कारण कोहरे में आपको सामने नहीं दिखेगा। कार या अन्य बड़े वाहन ड्राइविंग करते समय शीशे को बारबार साफ करते रहें।
8. गाड़ियों को ओवरटेक न करें
ओवरटेक से बचें कोहरे की वजह से विजिबिलिटी काफी कम हो गई है। ऐसे में गाड़ी चलाते वक्त ओवरटेक करना किसी खतरे से कम नहीं है। ऐसे मौसम में गाड़ी ओवरटेक न करें। ऐसा करने से दुर्घटना होने की संभावना काफी ज्यादा बढ़ जाती है। इसलिए कोशिश करें कि गाड़ियों को ओवरटेक न करें।
