Mumbai: सलमान खान की आने वाली युद्ध ड्रामा फिल्म Battle of Galwan का नाम बदलकर Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace कर दिया गया है। यह घोषणा सोमवार को सलमान खान फिल्म्स ने फिल्म का नया पोस्टर जारी करते हुए की। सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्टर शेयर करते हुए सलमान ने लिखा, “May War Rest in Peace” और हैशटैग #Maatrubhumi के साथ फिल्म के निर्देशक अपूर्वा लखिया और सह-कलाकार चित्रांगदा सिंह को टैग किया।

पोस्टर में सलमान युद्ध के लिए तैयार दिख रहे हैं, घायल और खून से सने हुए, हाथ में कांटेदार तार से लिपटा पोल पकड़ते हुए। उनका यह लुक फिल्म के गंभीर और सच्चाई पर आधारित युद्ध थीम को स्पष्ट रूप से दर्शाता है।

गलवान संघर्ष से प्रेरित कहानी

फिल्म का निर्देशन अपूर्वा लखिया कर रहे हैं और यह 2020 के गलवान घाटी संघर्ष से प्रेरित है। उस घटना में भारत और चीन के सैनिक आमने-सामने आए थे, जिसमें 20 भारतीय सैनिक शहीद हुए और दोनों देशों के बीच तनाव बढ़ गया। फिल्म में सलमान खान भारतीय सेना के अधिकारी कर्नल बिक्कुमल्ला सन्तोष बाबू का किरदार निभा रहे हैं, जिन्होंने अपने नेतृत्व और बहादुरी के लिए महा वीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया।

सलमान खान और चित्रांगदा सिंह के अलावा फिल्म में ज़ैन शॉ, अंकुर भाटिया और विपिन भारद्वाज भी अहम भूमिकाओं में हैं। इस फिल्म का उद्देश्य केवल युद्ध के दृश्यों को दिखाना नहीं है, बल्कि यह साहस, बलिदान और युद्ध की मानव कीमत को सामने लाती है।

विवाद और सुरक्षा

फिल्म ने पहले ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय ध्यान खींचा था, जब कुछ चीनी मीडिया आउटलेट्स ने इसे गलवान संघर्ष का गलत चित्रण बताया। हालांकि भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय ने स्पष्ट किया कि फिल्म निर्माण से उनका कोई लेना-देना नहीं है।

फिल्म का संगीत हिमेश रेशमिया ने तैयार किया है और इसका पहला देशभक्ति गीत Maatrubhumi अरिजीत सिंह और श्रेया घोषाल ने गाया है। गीतकार समीर अंजान हैं।

फिल्म की शुरुआत में रिलीज़ 17 अप्रैल 2026 तय थी, लेकिन अब खबरें हैं कि इसे अगस्त तक स्थगित किया जा सकता है। हालांकि निर्माताओं ने अभी तक किसी भी बदलाव की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की है।
