फेसबुक पर वायरल हो हुए वीडियो के साथ शेयर किए जा रहे दावे की सत्यता जानने के लिए हमने पड़ताल की। पड़ताल के दौरान हमने सबसे पहले वायरल वीडियो से संबंधित कुछ कीवर्ड्स से खोजना शुरू किया। जिसके बाद हमें न्यूज़ 18 की वेबसाइट पर उक्त मामले से संबंधित मार्च 26, 2022 को प्रकाशित एक रिपोर्ट मिली।
रिपोर्ट में वायरल वीडियो की घटना पर उत्तराखंड पुलिस द्वारा दिए गए बयान का जिक्र किया गया है। जिसके मुताबिक यह घटना हरिद्वार जिले से है। पुलिस ने बताया कि ‘गुलशेर उर्फ गुलबेज नाम के एक लड़के ने एक युवती को पिरान कलियर स्थित एक गेस्ट हाउस में बुलाया था। कुछ देर बाद यह लड़का जब होटल से निकला तो उससे सूटकेस ठीक से उठाया नहीं जा रहा था। इस पर स्टाफ को शक हुआ तो उसे पकड़कर सूटकेस खुलवाया गया। इसमें से लड़की की लाश निकली। इस पूरे घटनाक्रम का एक वीडियो भी सोशल मीडिया में वायरल हुआ।

प्राप्त वीडियो से हमें पता चला कि इस मामले की जांच सीओ विवेक कुमार कर रहे हैं। जिसके बाद हमने विवेक कुमार से फ़ोन पर सीधा संपर्क किया। जहां उन्होंने बताया कि, ‘सोशल मीडिया पर उक्त मामले में लव जिहाद के होने का दावा किया जा रहा है जो की गलत है।
युवक और युवती दोनों एक ही समुदाय विशेष से थे और करीबी रिश्तेदार भी थे। उन्होंने कहा कि उन दोनों का लंबे समय से अफेयर था, इसलिए लड़का शादी करने का दबाव बना रहा था, लेकिन लड़की ने मना कर दिया था। इसी के बाद 24 तारीख की रात में आरोपी ने उस लड़की की हत्या कर दी और उसे सूटकेस में पैक करके उसकी लाश को ठिकाने लगा रहा था।’ बता दें आरोपी के खिलाफ मृत लड़की के पिता राशिद ने धारा 302 के तेहत उस पर मामला दर्ज करवा है।
