दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के ‘संसद चलो’ मार्च के दौरान दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा कथित अत्यधिक बल प्रयोग और हिंसा के खिलाफ दायर जनहित याचिका (PIL) पर तत्काल सुनवाई करने से मंगलवार (21 जुलाई 2026) को साफ इनकार कर दिया है।

अदालत की कड़ी टिप्पणी

अदालत ने याचिका पर तुरंत सुनवाई का अनुरोध ठुकराते हुए सख्त टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा, “अदालत को इस सब में मत घसीटिए। यह कल सुनवाई पर आएगा।” अब इस मामले पर आगे की सुनवाई बुधवार को होने की उम्मीद है।

क्या है पूरा मामला?

सोमवार (20 जुलाई 2026) को कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के कार्यकर्ताओं ने नीट (NEET) परीक्षा में कथित अनियमितताओं को लेकर शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर संसद भवन की ओर एक विरोध मार्च निकाला था।

इस प्रदर्शन के दौरान स्थिति काफी हिंसक हो गई। पुलिस ने उग्र भीड़ को तितर-बितर करने के लिए लाठीचार्ज किया और आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े। इस झड़प में कई लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।

अस्पतालों में घायलों की भीड़ और सोनम वांगचुक का अनशन

सूत्रों के अनुसार, पुलिस कार्रवाई में घायल हुए कम से कम 38 लोगों को लेडी हार्डिंग मेडिकल कॉलेज और लगभग 65 लोगों को डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। घायलों को फ्रैक्चर, आंसू गैस के कारण सूजन और सिर व आंखों में चोटें आई हैं।

हालाँकि केंद्रीय दिल्ली में मोबाइल इंटरनेट सेवाएं बंद कर दी गई थीं, फिर भी इस हिंसक पुलिस कार्रवाई के कई वीडियो और तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो गए। दूसरी ओर, इस घटना से आहत होकर एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक ने सोमवार को घोषणा की कि वह अपना अनिश्चितकालीन अनशन जारी रखेंगे, क्योंकि प्रदर्शनकारियों पर हुई पुलिसिया कार्रवाई ने उन्हें अपनी भूख हड़ताल बढ़ाने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया है।
