नई दिल्ली: संसद के मानसून सत्र के दौरान लोकसभा में एक महिला सांसद के खिलाफ कथित तौर पर अमर्यादित भाषा का इस्तेमाल करने पर तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) के सांसद कल्याण बनर्जी को बुधवार को लोकसभा से निलंबित कर दिया गया है।
तीखी नोकझोक के बाद हुई कार्रवाई
सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह कार्रवाई तब हुई जब कल्याण बनर्जी की लोकसभा कक्ष के भीतर अपनी पूर्व पार्टी के सहयोगियों और NCPI (नेशनलिस्ट सिटीजंस पार्टी ऑफ इंडिया) के सांसदों के साथ तीखी बहस हो गई थी। इस हंगामे के दौरान सदन में माहौल काफी गरमा गया था।
स्पीकर से मिले एनसीपीआई सांसद
इस तीखी नोकझोक के बाद, मिताली बाघ, शताब्दी रॉय और काकोली घोष दस्तीदार सहित अन्य NCPI सदस्य लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला के कक्ष में पहुंचे। उन्होंने इस पूरे मामले को लेकर स्पीकर के सामने अपनी बात रखी और उचित कदम उठाने की मांग की।
पश्चिम बंगाल चुनाव के बाद बनी थी नई स्थिति
उल्लेखनीय है कि पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव में पार्टी की हार के बाद TMC के लगभग 20 सांसदों ने पार्टी नेतृत्व के खिलाफ बगावत कर दी थी और NCPI का दामन थाम लिया था। इसके बाद से ये सांसद लोकसभा में TMC सदस्यों से अलग बैठ रहे हैं। फिलहाल कल्याण बनर्जी TMC सुप्रीमो ममता बनर्जी के प्रति वफादार बने हुए हैं।
