इंदौर के सरकारी स्वास्थ्य तंत्र पर एक बार फिर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं। हाल ही में एक हृदयविदारक घटना सामने आई है जहाँ एक 12 वर्षीय बीमार बच्चा आदर्श, अपने माता-पिता के साथ इलाज के लिए दर-दर भटकने को मजबूर हुआ।सरकारी अस्पताल परिसर में भीषण गर्मी के बीच, न कोई वार्ड बॉय था, न एम्बुलेंस और न ही कोई सहायता।
क्या है मामला?
आदर्श रीढ़ की हड्डी की समस्या से जूझ रहा है और लगभग 15 दिनों से MY अस्पताल में भर्ती था। उसे आगे के इलाज के लिए ‘सुपर स्पेशलिटी अस्पताल’ रेफर किया गया। लेकिन जब परिवार वहां पहुँचा, तो उन्हें यह कहकर लौटा दिया गया कि अभी भर्ती की जरूरत नहीं है, सिर्फ कागजात दिखाए जाएं। इसके बाद मजबूर माता-पिता को अपने बच्चे को स्ट्रेचर पर लिटाकर वापस MY अस्पताल तक लगभग एक किलोमीटर तक खुद ही ले जाना पड़ा। माँ ने धूप से बचाने के लिए अपने बच्चे पर गीली चुनरी डाली, जो सिस्टम की विफलता को दर्शाती है।
लगातार सामने आ रहे मामले
यह पहली बार नहीं है जब MY अस्पताल सुर्खियों में है। इससे पहले भी अस्पताल में स्ट्रेचर न मिलने, मरीजों के परिजनों द्वारा उसे ढकेलने, यहाँ तक कि नवजात शिशुओं के साथ लापरवाही और चूहे के काटने जैसी डरावनी खबरें सामने आ चुकी हैं।
MY अस्पताल के अधीक्षक डॉ. अशोक यादव ने कहा कि मामला संज्ञान में है और जांच की जा रही है। लेकिन सवाल यह है कि आखिर कब तक मरीज और उनके परिजन बुनियादी सुविधाओं के लिए यूं ही संघर्ष करते रहेंगे? क्या करोड़ों रुपये खर्च करने के बाद भी व्यवस्था इतनी लाचार है कि एक बीमार बच्चे को एम्बुलेंस तक नसीब नहीं हो सकती?
