जगन्नाथ रथ यात्रा और ओणम के लिए चलेंगी 400 से ज्यादा स्पेशल ट्रेनें, रेलवे ने दी बड़ी सौगात
केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने घोषणा की है कि भक्तों की सुविधा के लिए पुरी की रथ यात्रा और केरल के ओणम त्यौहार के दौरान विशेष ट्रेनें चलाई जाएंगी।
नई दिल्ली: भारतीय रेलवे यात्रियों की बढ़ती भीड़ को देखते हुए त्यौहारों के सीजन में विशेष तैयारी कर रही है। केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने सोमवार को घोषणा की कि वार्षिक भगवान जगन्नाथ रथ यात्रा और ओणम के अवसर पर यात्रियों को बड़ी राहत दी जाएगी।
रथ यात्रा और ओणम के लिए विशेष इंतजाम
रेल मंत्री ने बताया कि ओडिशा में भगवान जगन्नाथ की रथ यात्रा के लिए रेलवे 300 से अधिक स्पेशल ट्रेनें चलाएगा। वहीं, केरल में ओणम त्यौहार के दौरान यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए 100 से अधिक विशेष ट्रेनें संचालित की जाएंगी।
यात्रियों के लिए सुरक्षित और सस्ती यात्रा
अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि यह रेलवे, केंद्र सरकार और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की ओर से एक बड़ा प्रयास है, ताकि हमारे नागरिकों को सुरक्षित और सस्ती रेल सेवाएं मिल सकें। उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि इस साल गर्मी के सीजन में (जो 30 जून को समाप्त हुआ) रिकॉर्ड 15,000 विशेष ट्रेनें चलाई गई थीं।
सिख समुदाय के लिए नई कनेक्टिविटी
इसके अलावा, रेल मंत्री ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए नांदेड़-मुंबई और टनकपुर-नांदेड़ एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को हरी झंडी दिखाई। साथ ही, टनकपुर-पीलीभीत ट्रेन सेवा का विस्तार शाहजहांपुर तक किया गया है। यह नई रेल कनेक्टिविटी उत्तर प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड के तराई क्षेत्र में रहने वाले सिख समुदाय के लिए बेहद फायदेमंद साबित होगी, जो लंबे समय से ‘पंज तख्त’ से जुड़ने की मांग कर रहे थे।
इसके साथ ही, रेलवे ने खटीमा और बनबसा में भी ट्रेन ठहराव की मांग पर गंभीरता से विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया है।
