Hyderabad: हैदराबाद से एक चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जहां Digital Arrest के नाम पर एक 72 वर्षीय रिटायर्ड व्यक्ति से 53 लाख रुपये की ठगी कर ली गई। यह धोखाधड़ी करीब 10 दिनों तक चली और आरोपियों ने लगातार मानसिक दबाव बनाकर वारदात को अंजाम दिया।
ऐसे शुरू हुआ पूरा खेल
पुलिस के मुताबिक, 17 मार्च को पीड़ित को एक कॉल आया, जिसमें कॉलर ने खुद को Data Protection Board of India का अधिकारी बताया। उसने दावा किया कि पीड़ित का आधार कार्ड एक ऐसे मोबाइल नंबर से जुड़ा है, जिससे आपत्तिजनक मैसेज भेजे गए हैं।
फर्जी पुलिस अधिकारी बनकर डराया
इसके बाद कॉल को एक अन्य व्यक्ति को ट्रांसफर किया गया, जिसने खुद को महाराष्ट्र के कोलाबा पुलिस स्टेशन का सब-इंस्पेक्टर बताया। उसने वीडियो कॉल के जरिए पीड़ित का बयान रिकॉर्ड किया और कहा कि उनका नाम कई मामलों में सामने आ रहा है।
फर्जी सुप्रीम कोर्ट नोटिस से बढ़ाया दबाव
ठगों ने मामला और गंभीर दिखाने के लिए एक नकली सुप्रीम कोर्ट नोटिस भेजा, जिसमें पीड़ित पर 2 करोड़ रुपये के लोन फ्रॉड में शामिल होने का आरोप लगाया गया।
लगातार निगरानी में रखा
पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपियों ने पीड़ित से हर दो घंटे में व्हाट्सऐप पर अपडेट देने को कहा, जिससे वह पूरी तरह उनके नियंत्रण में रहा और किसी से सलाह नहीं ले सका।
नकली दस्तावेजों से बनाया भरोसा
ठगों ने फर्जी FIR, बैंक रिकॉर्ड और RBI के नाम से नकली पत्र भी भेजे, ताकि पूरा मामला असली लगे और पीड़ित डर जाए।
डर के चलते ट्रांसफर किए पैसे
कानूनी कार्रवाई के डर से पीड़ित ने आरोपियों द्वारा बताए गए खातों में 53 लाख रुपये ट्रांसफर कर दिए। बाद में जब उसे ठगी का एहसास हुआ, तो उसने मलकाजगिरी साइबर क्राइम पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई।
पुलिस की चेतावनी
पुलिस ने कहा कि “डिजिटल अरेस्ट” जैसे स्कैम तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं, जिनमें खासकर बुजुर्गों को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है। अधिकारियों ने साफ किया कि कोई भी सरकारी एजेंसी फोन या वीडियो कॉल पर जांच नहीं करती और न ही पैसे मांगती है।
