भारतीय नौसेना का टैंकर आईएनएस ऐरावत आज सुबह विशाखापत्तनम भारत के लिए सिंगापुर से मदद लेकर पंहुचा है। नौसेना अधिरकारियों के मुताबिक यह जहाज सिंगापुर से 20 टन खाली क्रायोजेनिक ऑक्सीजन सिलिंडर, 3150 ऑक्सीजन सिलिंडर, 500 भरे ऑक्सीजन सिलिंडर, 10 हजार रैपिड एंटीजन जांच किट और 450 पीपीई किट लेकर आया है।

बता दे यह 5 मई को सिंगापुर में ऑक्सीजन टैंक और सिलेंडरों के साथ रवाना हुआ था। सिंगापुर से भारत देश को प्रदान की गयी मदद को देखे तो हाल ही में सिंगापुर के एक फाउंडेशन ने 500 से ज्यादा ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर भारत को दिए है। इस फाउंडेशन को ग्लोबल स्कूल्स के नाम से जाना जाता है।
इसके पहले भी आ चुकी है सिंगापुर से मदद।
गौरतलब है कि इससे पहले भी IL-76 विमान के जरिए सिंगापुर से तीन क्रायोजेनिक ऑक्सीजन कंटेनर भारत लाए गए थे। ये विमान बीते शुक्रवार को ही पश्चिम बंगाल के पनागर एयर बेस पर उतरा था। बता दे भारत की इस संकट की घड़ी में कई देशों ने भारत को भारी मात्रा में मदद पहुंचाई है। अमेरिका, यूनाइटेड किंगडम और रूस, थाईलैंड, इजराइल सहित दुनिया भर के कई देशों ने न केवल इस संकट की घड़ी में साथ दिया है बल्किन पिछले साल भारत द्वारा की गयी मदद का आभार भी जताया है।
