टीम इंडिया के स्टार ऑलराउंडर Hardik Pandya के खिलाफ राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के अपमान का आरोप लगाते हुए शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई है। यह शिकायत बेंगलुरु के शिवाजी नगर पुलिस स्टेशन में दर्ज हुई है। शिकायत में कहा गया है कि टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप जीत के बाद जश्न के दौरान तिरंगे के साथ कथित तौर पर अनुचित व्यवहार किया गया।
जश्न के दौरान लगा आरोप
रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, भारत की जीत के बाद ICC Men’s T20 World Cup के जश्न के दौरान अहमदाबाद के Narendra Modi Stadium में कई वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुए।
इन वीडियो में Hardik Pandya तिरंगा कंधे पर डालकर मैदान में जश्न मनाते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। आरोप है कि इसी दौरान वह मंच पर लेट गए, जबकि उनके कंधे पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज मौजूद था। शिकायतकर्ता का कहना है कि यह तिरंगे की गरिमा के खिलाफ माना जा सकता है।
किसने दर्ज कराई शिकायत
यह शिकायत पुणे के वकील Wajed Khan Bidkar ने दर्ज कराई है। उन्होंने पुलिस को लिखित शिकायत देकर कहा कि राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के साथ इस तरह का व्यवहार कानून के तहत गलत माना जा सकता है।

राष्ट्रीय ध्वज कानून का हवाला
शिकायत में Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 का हवाला दिया गया है। इस कानून के अनुसार राष्ट्रीय ध्वज, संविधान और राष्ट्रगान जैसे राष्ट्रीय प्रतीकों का अपमान करना दंडनीय अपराध है।
शिकायतकर्ता का कहना है कि इस कानून की धारा 2 के तहत तिरंगे की गरिमा बनाए रखना जरूरी है और उसका गलत इस्तेमाल या अनादर करना अपराध की श्रेणी में आ सकता है।
पुलिस ने शिकायत स्वीकार की
शुरुआत में पुलिस ने कहा कि घटना अहमदाबाद में हुई है, इसलिए मामला वहीं दर्ज होना चाहिए। हालांकि शिकायतकर्ता ने तर्क दिया कि तिरंगा पूरे देश का राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक है, इसलिए शिकायत कहीं भी दर्ज की जा सकती है। इसके बाद पुलिस ने शिकायत स्वीकार कर उसकी कॉपी भी दे दी।
