अमेरिका ने भारत समेत 16 देशों के खिलाफ शुरू की ‘अनफेयर ट्रेड’ जांच, जानिए क्या है मामला

अमेरिका ने भारत सहित दुनिया की 16 बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्थाओं के खिलाफ कथित अनफेयर ट्रेड प्रैक्टिस की जांच शुरू कर दी है। यह जांच अमेरिकी व्यापार कानून के तहत शुरू की गई है, जिससे आगे चलकर इन देशों के उत्पादों पर नए टैरिफ (आयात शुल्क) लगाए जा सकते हैं।

इस सूची में भारत के अलावा चीन, जापान और यूरोपीय संघ जैसे बड़े व्यापारिक साझेदार भी शामिल हैं। यह कदम उस समय आया है जब हाल ही में Donald Trump और Narendra Modi के बीच व्यापार समझौते के लिए एक नया ढांचा तैयार किया गया था।

किस कानून के तहत शुरू हुई जांच

अमेरिका ने यह जांच Section 301 के तहत शुरू की है, जो कि Trade Act of 1974 का हिस्सा है।

इस कानून के जरिए अमेरिका यह जांच करता है कि क्या कोई देश ऐसी व्यापारिक नीतियां अपना रहा है जिससे अमेरिकी कंपनियों और उद्योगों को नुकसान हो रहा है। अगर जांच में आरोप सही पाए जाते हैं, तो अमेरिका उन देशों के उत्पादों पर अतिरिक्त टैरिफ या व्यापारिक प्रतिबंध लगा सकता है।

अमेरिका क्यों कर रहा है यह जांच

अमेरिका का कहना है कि कुछ देश अपनी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग इंडस्ट्री को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकारी सब्सिडी, सस्ती फाइनेंसिंग और अन्य नीतियों का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

अमेरिकी अधिकारियों के मुताबिक इससे वैश्विक बाजार में सस्ते उत्पादों की भरमार हो जाती है, जिससे अमेरिकी कंपनियों को प्रतिस्पर्धा में नुकसान उठाना पड़ता है।

भारत पर क्या पड़ सकता है असर

भारत के लिए इस जांच का तुरंत बड़ा आर्थिक असर नहीं दिख रहा है, लेकिन भविष्य में जोखिम जरूर बढ़ सकता है। अमेरिका भारत का सबसे बड़ा निर्यात बाजार है और भारत हर साल अरबों डॉलर के सामान वहां भेजता है।

भारत से अमेरिका को भेजे जाने वाले प्रमुख उत्पादों में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, टेक्सटाइल, दवाइयां, इंजीनियरिंग सामान, जेम्स एंड ज्वेलरी और ऑटो कंपोनेंट शामिल हैं।

अगर इन सेक्टरों पर टैरिफ लगाया जाता है, तो भारतीय कंपनियों के लिए अमेरिकी बाजार में प्रतिस्पर्धा करना मुश्किल हो सकता है।

आगे क्या होगा

इस जांच की प्रक्रिया अब औपचारिक रूप से आगे बढ़ेगी। अप्रैल तक सार्वजनिक सुझाव लिए जाएंगे और मई में सुनवाई हो सकती है। इसके बाद अमेरिका फैसला कर सकता है कि किसी देश पर नए टैरिफ लगाए जाएं या नहीं।

हालांकि विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि भारत और अमेरिका के बीच चल रही व्यापार वार्ताओं के चलते यह मामला बातचीत के जरिए भी सुलझ सकता है।
