New Delhi: साउथ-वेस्ट जिला साइबर पुलिस ने एक बड़े मल्टी-स्टेट निवेश ठगी रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ करते हुए 11 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि इन लोगों ने एक वरिष्ठ नागरिक को हाई रिटर्न का लालच देकर 22.67 लाख रुपये की ठगी की।
फेसबुक विज्ञापन बना जाल
पुलिस के अनुसार, पीड़ित को Facebook पर एक आकर्षक विज्ञापन के जरिए फंसाया गया। इसके बाद उसे “Mudra One” और “Nine Pro” नाम के मोबाइल ऐप के माध्यम से निवेश करने के लिए राजी किया गया। इन प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर भारी मुनाफे का वादा किया गया था।
पैसे जमा, लेकिन निकासी पर ब्लॉक
पीड़ित ने भरोसा कर कुल 22.67 लाख रुपये ट्रांसफर कर दिए। शुरुआत में सब सामान्य दिखा, लेकिन जब उसने अपना पैसा निकालने की कोशिश की, तो आरोपियों ने जवाब देना बंद कर दिया और उसका फोन नंबर व व्हाट्सऐप अकाउंट ब्लॉक कर दिया।
जांच में सामने आया बड़ा नेटवर्क
मामले की जांच के लिए पुलिस ने विशेष टीम बनाई। तकनीकी विश्लेषण और कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड के जरिए पता चला कि यह रैकेट Rohini और Netaji Subhas Chandra Place से संचालित हो रहा था। आरोपी फर्जी बैंक खातों (म्यूल अकाउंट) के जरिए पैसे ट्रांसफर कर रहे थे।
11 आरोपी गिरफ्तार, भारी सामान बरामद
पुलिस ने पहले तेजिंदर उर्फ लकी, आशीष सैनी, सिखदयाल सिंह और गिरिराज किशोर को गिरफ्तार किया। इसके बाद प्रतीभा और सतीश को भी पकड़ा गया, जो म्यूल अकाउंट चला रहे थे। कुल 11 आरोपियों को अब तक गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है।
छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस ने बड़ी मात्रा में सामान बरामद किया, जिसमें 92 सिम कार्ड, 40 मोबाइल फोन, 39 चेकबुक, 45 कंपनी स्टैम्प, POS मशीनें, UPI स्कैनर, ATM कार्ड, पैन कार्ड और कई लैपटॉप व डेस्कटॉप शामिल हैं।
पुलिस का कहना है कि यह एक संगठित गिरोह है, जो अलग-अलग राज्यों में लोगों को निशाना बना रहा था। मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है और जल्द ही और खुलासे हो सकते हैं।
