गुवाहाटी: FIFA World Cup 2026 के सेमीफाइनल और फाइनल मुकाबलों को लेकर फुटबॉल प्रेमियों के लिए असम सरकार ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने घोषणा की है कि 15, 16, 19 और 20 जुलाई को गुवाहाटी समेत राज्य के कई हिस्सों में रेस्टोरेंट और कैफे रात 3:30 बजे तक खुले रह सकेंगे, ताकि लोग देर रात होने वाले मुकाबलों का आनंद बिना किसी परेशानी के ले सकें।
फुटबॉल प्रशंसकों के लिए सरकार की पहल
मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि फुटबॉल लोगों को एकजुट करता है और राज्य सरकार चाहती है कि खेल प्रेमी विश्व कप के सेमीफाइनल और फाइनल मुकाबलों का पूरा आनंद उठा सकें।
उन्होंने बताया कि गुवाहाटी जिला प्रशासन को इन निर्धारित तारीखों पर रेस्टोरेंट के संचालन का समय बढ़ाने की अनुमति देने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
अन्य जिलों में भी मिलेगी छूट
सरमा ने कहा कि असम के अन्य जिलों के प्रशासन को भी अधिकार दिया गया है कि यदि रेस्टोरेंट ओनर्स एसोसिएशन की ओर से मांग आती है और पर्याप्त सार्वजनिक रुचि होती है, तो वे भी रेस्टोरेंट के संचालन का समय बढ़ा सकते हैं।

सरकार के इस फैसले से रेस्टोरेंट, कैफे और लाइव स्क्रीनिंग आयोजित करने वाले प्रतिष्ठानों को भी लाभ मिलने की उम्मीद है। देर रात होने वाले मुकाबलों के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में फुटबॉल प्रशंसकों के पहुंचने से स्थानीय कारोबार को बढ़ावा मिल सकता है।
