Jammu Kashmir: जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के अध्यक्ष Farooq Abdullah पर बुधवार रात एक शादी समारोह के दौरान जानलेवा हमला करने की कोशिश की गई। यह घटना जम्मू के ग्रेटर कैलाश इलाके में हुई, जब वह कार्यक्रम से बाहर निकल रहे थे।
हालांकि मौके पर मौजूद सुरक्षा कर्मियों की सतर्कता से यह हमला नाकाम हो गया और आरोपी को तुरंत पकड़ लिया गया।

रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, Farooq Abdullah और जम्मू-कश्मीर के डिप्टी सीएम Surinder Choudhary एक पार्टी नेता के परिवार में शादी समारोह में शामिल होने पहुंचे थे।
कार्यक्रम खत्म होने के बाद जब दोनों नेता बाहर निकल रहे थे, तभी एक व्यक्ति पीछे से उनके करीब आया और बेहद नजदीक से गोली चलाने की कोशिश की। CCTV फुटेज में भी आरोपी को पीछे से आते और गोली चलाते हुए देखा गया है।

सुरक्षा कर्मियों ने तुरंत दबोचा
घटना के तुरंत बाद सुरक्षा टीम ने तेजी से कार्रवाई की और आरोपी को वहीं पकड़ लिया। पुलिस ने बताया कि सुरक्षा में तैनात अधिकारियों ने गोली का रुख मोड़ दिया, जिससे बड़ा हादसा टल गया। हमले में किसी को चोट नहीं आई।
कौन है आरोपी
पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपी की पहचान Kamal Singh Jamwal के रूप में हुई है। वह जम्मू के पुरानी मंडी इलाके का रहने वाला बताया जा रहा है।
जांच में यह भी सामने आया कि आरोपी कथित तौर पर पिछले करीब 20 वर्षों से Farooq Abdullah को निशाना बनाने का मौका तलाश रहा था। पुलिस ने आरोपी के पास से पिस्तौल भी बरामद की है।
Omar Abdullah ने उठाए सुरक्षा पर सवाल
घटना के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री Omar Abdullah ने सोशल मीडिया पर कहा कि उनके पिता की जान बाल-बाल बची।
उन्होंने यह भी सवाल उठाया कि इतनी सुरक्षा के बावजूद कोई व्यक्ति इतने करीब कैसे पहुंच गया। फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
