भारत निर्वाचन आयोग (ECI) आज 15 मार्च, 2026 को 4 बजे प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित करेगा। इस दौरान आयोग आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों की तारीखों की घोषणा करेगा। इस चुनाव में चार राज्यों और एक केंद्र शासित प्रदेश शामिल हैं:
- पश्चिम बंगाल
- तमिलनाडु
- केरल
- असम
- पुदुचेरी
मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त Gyanesh Kumar, साथ ही निर्वाचन आयुक्त Sukhbir Singh Sandhu और Vivek Joshi प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में चरणवार मतदान, नामांकन की अंतिम तिथि और मतगणना की तारीखें साझा करेंगे।
चुनाव तैयारी और सुरक्षा
आयोग ने सभी क्षेत्रों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और मतदाता पंजीकरण आंकड़ों की समीक्षा के लिए स्थल निरीक्षण और तैयारियों का कार्य पूरा कर लिया है।
मॉडल कोड ऑफ कंडक्ट (Model Code of Conduct) की शर्तें तुरंत प्रभाव में आ जाएंगी, जिससे इन राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में कार्यवाहक सरकारें नई नीतियों या वित्तीय घोषणाएं नहीं कर सकेंगी।
क्षेत्रवार विवरण और सुरक्षा
पश्चिम बंगाल में 8-चरणीय मतदान प्रक्रिया 2021 की तुलना में सुरक्षा और केंद्रीय बलों की तैनाती पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है और सभी मतदान क्षेत्रों में केंद्रीय अर्धसैनिक बलों की पर्याप्त तैनाती की जाएगी।
आगामी चुनाव और समयरेखा
इन पांच क्षेत्रों की वर्तमान विधानसभा की अवधि मई और जून 2026 में समाप्त हो रही है। आज की घोषणा के साथ दो महीने का राजनीतिक चक्र शुरू हो जाएगा, जो अगले पांच वर्षों के लिए नेतृत्व तय करेगा।
विज्ञान भवन में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के बाद आयोग की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर चरणवार और पूर्ण चुनाव कार्यक्रम प्रकाशित किया जाएगा।
