सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। वीडियो में कुछ महिलाओं और बच्चों को पुलिस के सामने रोते हुए देखा जा सकता है, वीडियो एक दूरसे हिस्से में भगवान गणेश जी की कई मूर्तियों को भी दिखाया गया है। इसके बाद वीडियो में एक व्यक्ति को मीडिया के सामने किसी अन्य भाषा में बयान भी देते हुए देखा जा सकता है। वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर कर दावा किया जा रहा है कि तमिल नाडु की INDIA एलायंस वाली सरकार ने राज्य में भगवन की मूर्तियों को बेचने वाले कामगारों को आदेश दिया गया है कि वह अब से भगवान की मूर्तियां नहीं बेंच सकते।
फेसबुक का पोस्ट कुछ इस प्रकार है,’तमिलनाडु में भगवान कि मूर्ति बनाने वाले गरीब मारवाड़ीयो के झोपड पट्टी गोदाम को सील कर के मूर्तियो को ना बेचने का नोटिस दिया अब गणेश चतुर्थी को आर्डर की गयी मूर्तियों को नहीं दे पायेगें तमिलनाडु के I. N. D. I. A मुख्यमंत्री का ऐलान हिन्दू संस्कृति का अंत करने का नया तरीका’

न्यूज़मोबाइल की पड़ताल में हमने जाना कि वायरल वीडियो को भ्रामक दावे के साथ शेयर किया जा रहा है।
सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहे वीडियो के साथ शेयर किए गए दावे की सत्यता जानने के लिए हमने गूगल पर बारीकी से खोजना शुरू किया। सबसे पहले हमने कुछ संबंधित कीवर्ड्स के माध्यम से हमने गूगल पर बारीकी से खोजना शुरू किया। इस प्रक्रिया में हमें OneIndia नामक वेबसाइट पर तमिल भाषा में प्रकाशित एक लेख मिला। जिसे हाल ही सितंबर 16, 2023 को प्रकाशित किया गया था।
गूगल ट्रांसलेटर की सहायता से हमने लेख को पढ़ने और समझने का प्रयास किया। इस दौरान हमने जाना कि तमिल नाडु के करूर जिला कलेक्टर ने भगवान की मूर्तियों को सील किए जाने के संबंध में सफाई दी है। लेख में करूर जिला कलक्टर के हवाले बताया गया कि पर्यावरण को ध्यान में रखते हुए साल 2018 में एक आदेश पारित किया गया था, जिसमें प्लास्टर ऑफ़ पेरिस तथा अन्य केमिकल के इस्तेमाल से बनी भगवान की मूर्तियों को प्रतिबंधित किया गया था। लेख में बताया गया है कि इसी आदेश के बिनाह पर तमिल नाडु के करूर जिले में इन केमिकल से बनी मूर्तियों को सीज किया गया था।
इसके बाद हमने पुष्टि के लिए गूगल पर और बारीकी से खोजना शुरू किया। इस दौरान हमें ट्विटर पर वायरल वीडियो को लेकर तमिल भाषा में किए गए एक पोस्ट के रिप्लाई में करूर जिले के कलेक्टर के आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल का ट्वीट मिला। जिसे सितंबर 15, 2023 को अपलोड किया गया था।

इस दौरान पोस्ट में करूर के जिला कलेक्टर ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि खबर तथ्यात्मक रूप से अधूरी और तोड़-मरोड़ कर पेश की गई है। सच्चाई इस प्रकार है – विभिन्न माननीय उच्च न्यायालयों, एनजीटी और सीपीसीबी द्वारा बार-बार निर्देशित किया गया है कि विनायक चतुर्थी के लिए बनाई जाने वाली मूर्तियां पूरी तरह से बायोडिग्रेडेबल वस्तुओं से बनी होंगी। पीओपी जैसी सामग्री सख्त वर्जित है।
उन्होंने इसी कड़ी एक दूसरे ट्वीट में बताया है कि इस मामले में, पारंपरिक कुम्हार संघ द्वारा एक शिकायत की गई थी कि लोगों के एक समूह द्वारा विनायक की मूर्तियाँ पीओपी द्वारा बनाई जा रही हैं और इससे उनकी आजीविका प्रभावित होती है। उपरोक्त पृष्ठभूमि में कार्यवाही की गई है। मूर्तियां 25.9.23 को निर्माताओं को सुरक्षित वापस कर दी जाएंगी।

पड़ताल के दौरन हमें उपरोक्त मिले तथ्यों से हमने जाना कि वायरल वीडियो को भ्रामक दावे के साथ शेयर किया जा रहा है, दरअसल साल 2018 में हाईकोर्ट द्वारा पारित एक आदेश के मुताबिक पर्यावरण को ध्यान में रखते हुए सिर्फ बायोडिग्रेडेबल वस्तुओं से बनी हुई मूर्तियों को बाजार में बेचा जा सकता है। लेकिन कुछ स्थानों पर इस आदेश का पालन न करने की सूचना मिली थी, और मूर्तियां प्लास्टर ऑफ़ पैरिस के इस्तेमाल से बनाई जा रही थी. इसी सूचना के बिनाह पर यह कार्रवाई की गयी थी।
