सोशल मीडिया पर एक कंकाल की तस्वीर इस दावे के साथ साझा की जा रही है कि यह एक भारतीय सैनिक की है, जिसका शव 1962 में रेजांग ला की लड़ाई के महीनों बाद मिला था और तब भी उसकी उंगलियां उसकी बंदूक के ट्रिगर पर थीं।

न्यूजमोबाइल ने पोस्ट की जांच की और दावा झूठा पाया। फेसबुक पर इसी तरह के पोस्ट की तलाश में, हमने पाया कि उसी तस्वीर को 2018 में एक अन्य फेसबुक यूजर ने इस दावे के साथ शेयर किया था कि यह तस्वीर एक तुर्की सैनिक की है।

जब हमने तस्वीर पर रिवर्स इमेज सर्च चलाया, तो हमने पाया कि उसी तस्वीर को एक इंस्टाग्राम यूजर ने एक कैप्शन के साथ अपलोड किया था, जिसमें लिखा था कि यह एक मॉडल है।

फिर हमने कुछ कीवर्ड के साथ एक और खोज की और एक वेबसाइट पर मॉडल की तस्वीर पाई। तस्वीर में हमने देखा कि मॉडल का श्रेय दिलीप सरकार एमबीई को दिया गया था।
