Digital Arrest Scam: हैदराबाद में रिटायर्ड जज से 1 करोड़ रुपये की डिजिटल अरेस्ट ठगी
Hyderabad: हैदराबाद के मलकाजगिरी में एक 69 वर्षीय रिटायर्ड डिस्ट्रिक्ट जज को साइबर अपराधियों ने “Digital Arrest Scam” के जरिए करीब 1 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का झटका दिया। जज को अज्ञात नंबरों से कॉल आए, जिनमें खुद को पुलिस अधिकारी बताया गया। कॉल करने वालों ने धमकी दी कि उनका मोबाइल नंबर मानव तस्करी और अन्य गंभीर अपराधों से जुड़ा है और अगर तुरंत कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है।
अत्यधिक डर और दबाव में आकर जज ने अपराधियों के बताए हुए बैंक खातों में पैसा ट्रांसफर कर दिया। उन्होंने कई किस्तों में 1 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक भेजे। कुछ दिनों बाद जब उन्हें धोखाधड़ी का पता चला, तो उन्होंने नेरेदमेट पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत दर्ज कराई। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
डिजिटल अरेस्ट स्कैम क्या है?
डिजिटल अरेस्ट स्कैम एक ऐसा साइबर फ्रॉड है जिसमें अपराधी खुद को पुलिस या सरकारी एजेंसी का अधिकारी बताकर लोगों को डराते हैं। झूठे आरोपों के दबाव में वे पीड़ितों से पैसे ट्रांसफर करवाते हैं, बैंक डिटेल मांगते हैं और वीडियो कॉल पर नजर रखते हैं। वास्तव में ऐसा कोई “डिजिटल अरेस्ट” कानून में मौजूद नहीं है। पुलिस या सरकारी अधिकारी कभी भी फोन पर पैसे नहीं मांगते।
सावधान रहें और बचाव करें
इस तरह की कॉल आने पर घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है। पैसे ट्रांसफर करने या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी साझा करने से पहले हमेशा जांच करें। किसी भी संदेहजनक कॉल को आधिकारिक चैनलों से कन्फर्म करें और तुरंत साइबर क्राइम हेल्पलाइन 1930 या राष्ट्रीय साइबर अपराध पोर्टल पर रिपोर्ट करें।
यह मामला याद दिलाता है कि चाहे कोई कितनी भी पढ़ी-लिखी और अनुभवी क्यों न हो, साइबर अपराधियों की रणनीति डर और दबाव से किसी को भी फंसाने में सक्षम है। इसलिए हमेशा सतर्क रहना और डिजिटल सुरक्षा का पालन करना जरूरी है।
