संसद का बजट सत्र सोमवार को शुरू हुआ और वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने सोमवार को लोकसभा में आर्थिक समीक्षा पेश की. समीक्षा में चालू वित्त वर्ष के लिए ग्रोथ रेट 9.2 फीसदी रहने का अनुमान जताया गया. अगले वित्त वर्ष के बारे में कहा गया कि अर्थव्यवस्था के बढ़ने की दर कुछ कम होकर 8 से 8.5 फीसदी के बीच रह सकती है.
इसमें आशा जताई गई है कि वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में महामारी के दौरान घाटे में वृद्धि और कर्ज संकेतक बढ़ने के बाद वर्ष 2021-22 में सरकार की वित्तीय स्थिति में मजबूती आएगी.
आर्थिक समीक्षा में सरकार ने कहा है कि आर्थिक मोर्चे पर ऐसे कई संकेत मिल रहे हैं, जिससे कि अर्थव्यवस्था में मजबूती आने के संकेत हैं. हालांकि, सरकार को आयातित महंगाई से सजग रहना होगा, खासकर ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में. सर्वे में बताया गया है कि ट्रैवल, ट्रेड और होटल सेक्टर अभी महामारी के मार से उबरे नहीं हैं.
