आईएएस अधिकारी विक्रम देव दत्त को नागरिक उड्डयन महानिदेशालय (DGCA) के अगले महानिदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। कल यानी शनिवार देर रात कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने विक्रम देव दत्त की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दी है। वह DGCA के अगले महानिदेशक होंगे।

प्राप्त जानकारी के मुताबिक, दत्त वर्तमान में एयर इंडिया एसेट होल्डिंग लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक (सीएमडी) के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। केंद्र सरकार ने साल 2022 में उन्हें एयर इंडिया लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया था।
अब वह 28 फरवरी, 2023 को विमानन नियामक के प्रमुख के रूप में कार्यभार संभालेंगे। वह डीजीसीए के मौजूदा प्रमुख अरुण कुमार का स्थान लेंगे। बता दें कि दत्त एजीएमयूटी (अरुणाचल प्रदेश, गोवा, मिजोरम और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश) कैडर के 1993 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी हैं।
