Washington DC: अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने कहा कि अमेरिका Strait Of Hormuz के तेल पर निर्भर नहीं है और जो देश इस मार्ग पर ऊर्जा की निर्भरता रखते हैं, उन्हें इसकी सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी खुद उठानी चाहिए।

अपने संबोधन में ट्रम्प ने जोर देकर कहा, “हमें इसकी जरूरत नहीं है। हमें पहले कभी जरूरत नहीं थी, और भविष्य में भी नहीं होगी।” उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अमेरिका समर्थन तो दे सकता है, लेकिन इस जलसंधि की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी में अगुआ नहीं बनेगा।
