समाजवादी पार्टी के संस्थापक और उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री Mulayam Singh Yadav के छोटे बेटे Prateek Yadav का 38 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया। वह लंबे समय से स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याओं से जूझ रहे थे और लखनऊ में उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली।
प्रतीक यादव राजनीति से दूर रहने वाले परिवार के उन सदस्यों में से थे, जिन्होंने अपनी अलग पहचान फिटनेस और बिजनेस की दुनिया में बनाई।
शिक्षा और शुरुआती जीवन
प्रतीक यादव ने अपनी पढ़ाई इंग्लैंड की यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ लीड्स से MBA किया था। पढ़ाई के बाद उन्होंने भारत लौटकर रियल एस्टेट और फिटनेस इंडस्ट्री में काम शुरू किया।
फिटनेस के प्रति जुनून
प्रतीक यादव एक फिटनेस एंथूजियास्ट थे। वे सोशल मीडिया पर अपने जिम रूटीन और बॉडी ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन की तस्वीरें साझा करते थे।
साल 2012 में उनकी फिटनेस जर्नी को एक इंटरनेशनल बॉडीबिल्डिंग प्लेटफॉर्म पर “Transformation of the Month” के रूप में भी फीचर किया गया था।
उनकी फिटनेस जर्नी को उनके परिवार और खासकर उनके पिता मुलायम सिंह यादव के प्रेरणादायक समर्थन से जोड़ा जाता है।
बिजनेस और सामाजिक कार्य
प्रतीक यादव ने रियल एस्टेट सेक्टर में भी काम किया। इसके अलावा उन्होंने लखनऊ में “The Fitness Planet” नाम से एक जिम भी चलाया।
वे जानवरों के प्रति भी काफी संवेदनशील थे और उन्होंने “Jeev Aashray” नामक एक NGO के जरिए पशु संरक्षण और इलाज से जुड़े काम किए।
निजी जीवन और शादी
प्रतीक यादव ने Aparna Yadav से वर्ष 2011 में शादी की थी। दोनों की मुलाकात एक कॉमन फ्रेंड के जरिए हुई थी और लंबे रिश्ते के बाद उन्होंने विवाह किया।
इस दंपति के दो बच्चे हैं। बाद में उनके रिश्तों को लेकर कुछ निजी विवाद और मतभेद भी चर्चा में रहे, लेकिन परिवारिक स्तर पर वे जुड़े रहे।
राजनीति से दूरी
यादव परिवार के कई सदस्य राजनीति में सक्रिय रहे, लेकिन प्रतीक यादव ने हमेशा खुद को राजनीति से दूर रखा। हालांकि समय-समय पर उन्हें राजनीतिक चर्चा में लाया गया, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी चुनावी राजनीति में भाग नहीं लिया।
स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं और अंतिम समय
जानकारी के अनुसार, प्रतीक यादव लंबे समय से फेफड़ों से जुड़ी बीमारी और ब्लड क्लॉट की समस्या से जूझ रहे थे। उनकी हालत हाल के दिनों में बिगड़ती चली गई।
अचानक तबीयत खराब होने के बाद उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।
प्रतीक यादव भले ही राजनीति से दूर रहे, लेकिन उन्होंने फिटनेस, बिजनेस और सामाजिक कार्यों के जरिए अपनी एक अलग पहचान बनाई। उनके निधन से राजनीतिक और सामाजिक दोनों ही क्षेत्रों में शोक की लहर है।
