ग्लासगो कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स 2026 में भारत का दबदबा लगातार मजबूत होता जा रहा है। शुक्रवार को जूडो मुकाबलों में भारतीय एथलीटों ने देश का नाम रोशन किया। अस्मिता देय और हर्ष सिंह ने अपने-अपने वर्ग में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किए। इन दो स्वर्ण मेडलों के साथ ही भारत के कुल स्वर्ण पदकों की संख्या पांच हो गई है।

भारतीय खिलाड़ियों की इस ऐतिहासिक सफलता पर देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट कर दोनों एथलीटों की सराहना की है।

अस्मिता देय ने महिलाओं के 48 किग्रा वर्ग में जीता गोल्ड

अस्मिता देय ने महिलाओं के 48 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग के फाइनल मुकाबले में दमदार खेल दिखाया और पोडियम पर पहला स्थान हासिल किया। अपनी इस ऐतिहासिक जीत के बाद वे काफी भावुक नजर आईं। उन्होंने अपना यह पदक अपने दिवंगत पिता और कोच को समर्पित किया।

अस्मिता ने जीत के बाद कहा, “मैं यह मेडल जीतकर बेहद खुश हूं। यह मेरे, मेरे राज्य और देश के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। दिसंबर 2025 में मेरे पिता का निधन हो गया था, जिसके बाद मुझे लगा था कि सब कुछ खत्म हो गया है। लेकिन दो महीने बाद एशियन गेम्स के ट्रायल हुए, जिसमें मैंने नेशनल लेवल पर पहला स्थान हासिल किया।”

हर्ष सिंह ने पुरुषों के 60 किग्रा वर्ग में लहराया परचम

पुरुष वर्ग में हर्ष सिंह ने भी देश को गौरवान्वित किया। हर्ष ने पुरुषों के 60 किलोग्राम जूडो मुकाबले के फाइनल में अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वी को शिकस्त देकर देश के लिए एक और स्वर्ण पदक पक्का किया।

जीत के बाद अपनी खुशी जाहिर करते हुए हर्ष सिंह ने कहा, “देश के लिए यह मेडल जीतकर मुझे बेहद गर्व महसूस हो रहा है। हमने आज जीतने के लिए ही पूरी तैयारी की थी। मैं इस पदक को अपनी मां को समर्पित करता हूं। यदि चयन होता है, तो मैं एशियन गेम्स के लिए भी कड़ी मेहनत करूंगा और देश के लिए मेडल जीतने अपना शत-प्रतिशत दूंगा।”
