कल्याण की ब्यूटीशियन से विदेशी पार्सल के नाम पर 8 लाख रुपये की ठगी, कस्टम क्लीयरेंस का झांसा देकर लगाया चूना
साइबर ठगों ने विदेशी मुद्रा और सोने के गहनों का पार्सल भेजने का झांसा देकर महिला को ठगा, पुलिस ने दर्ज की एफआईआर।
महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे जिले के कल्याण इलाके में साइबर ठगी का एक हैरान करने वाला मामला सामने आया है। यहां एक 45 वर्षीय महिला ब्यूटीशियन को विदेश से आने वाले पार्सल का झांसा देकर 8.05 लाख रुपये की चपत लगा दी गई है। ठगों ने पार्सल में विदेशी करेंसी और सोने के गहने होने का दावा किया था।
कैसे दिया गया ठगी को अंजाम?
पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह ठगी अप्रैल से 19 जुलाई के बीच हुई। कल्याण में रहने वाली महिला को एक शख्स का फोन आया था, जिसने कहा कि उसने उनके नाम पर एक पार्सल भेजा है।
इसके कुछ समय बाद एक महिला का फोन आया। कॉलर ने खुद को कस्टम अधिकारी बताते हुए कहा कि पार्सल कस्टम ऑफिस पहुंच गया है और इसे छुड़ाने के लिए 75,000 रुपये का कस्टम चार्ज देना होगा।
मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग और टैक्स का डर
बात यहीं खत्म नहीं हुई। ठगों ने महिला पर दबाव बनाने के लिए कहा कि पार्सल के अंदर विदेशी मुद्रा है। इसके अलावा, सोने के नेकलेस और सोने के बिस्कुट पर टैक्स चुकाने और मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग क्लीयरेंस सर्टिफिकेट के नाम पर अलग से पैसों की मांग की गई।
पुलिस जांच में जुटी
शुरुआत में ठगों की चिकनी-चुपड़ी बातों में आकर महिला ने झांसे पर भरोसा कर लिया। उसने अलग-अलग मौकों पर कुल 8.05 लाख रुपये ट्रांसफर कर दिए। बाद में जब उसे अहसास हुआ कि उसके साथ धोखा हुआ है, तो उसने पुलिस से संपर्क किया।
रविवार को इस मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली गई है। पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि अभी तक किसी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई है और मामले की आगे की जांच की जा रही है।
