अमृता विश्वविद्यापीठम की एक नई अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्टडी में खुलासा हुआ है कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) का इस्तेमाल साइबर अपराधियों द्वारा ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड को बढ़ावा देने के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर किया जा रहा है। इसके पीछे मानव तस्करी (Human Trafficking) का एक बड़ा और काला सच छिपा है।
साइबर ठगी और ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड के तरीके दिन-प्रतिकिन बदतर होते जा रहे हैं। हाल ही में अमृता विश्वविद्यापीठम के नेतृत्व में हुई एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय रिसर्च में चौंकाने वाले खुलासे हुए हैं। यह स्टडी संयुक्त राष्ट्र के ‘मानव तस्करी के खिलाफ विश्व दिवस’ के अवसर पर जारी की गई है। इस शोध के अनुसार, कई लोग जो ऑनलाइन स्कैम अकाउंट या चैट संचालित करते हैं, वे खुद मानव तस्करी के शिकार होते हैं। उन्हें धमकियों, हिंसा और लगातार निगरानी के बीच दूसरों को धोखा देने के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है।
कैसे एआई (AI) बना फ्रॉड का हथियार?
शोधकर्ताओं ने पाया कि दक्षिण-पूर्व एशिया में सक्रिय संगठित स्कैम सेंटर अब संभावित पीड़ितों से बात करने के लिए एआई टूल्स का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। एआई केवल ऑटोमेटेड मैसेज भेजने तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि इसका उपयोग बातचीत का अनुवाद करने, भाषा को सुधारने और ऐसा माहौल बनाने के लिए किया जाता है जिससे लोगों का भरोसा जीता जा सके।
विशेष रूप से “रोमांस-बैटिंग स्कैम” (Romance-Baiting Scams) पर की गई एक स्टडी से पता चला कि एआई सिस्टम ने बातचीत के अनुरोधों को 46% तक सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया, जबकि प्रशिक्षित मानव ऑपरेटर केवल 18% सफलता दर ही हासिल कर सके।
कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस की तरह चलते हैं स्कैम सेंटर
इस रिसर्च से पता चलता है कि ये स्कैम सेंटर किसी कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस की तरह काम करते हैं, जहां मैनेजर, एचआर विभाग और टार्गेट तय होते हैं। विदेश में नौकरी का झांसा देकर लोगों को फंसाया जाता है, सीमा पार उनकी तस्करी की जाती है और उन्हें क्रिप्टो या इन्वेस्टमेंट स्कैम करने के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है।
पीड़ितों के पासपोर्ट जब्त कर लिए जाते हैं और टारगेट पूरा न करने पर उन्हें हिंसा की धमकी दी जाती है। एक survivor ने बताया कि उन्हें “समुद्री हवा में सांस लेने” के लिए भी पैसे चुकाने पड़ते थे। अनुमान है कि साल 2023 में एशिया में इस तरह के स्कैम्स से 18 अरब से 37 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर का वित्तीय नुकसान हुआ है।
फर्जी नौकरियों की पहचान के लिए नई तकनीक
इस गंभीर समस्या से निपटने के लिए अमृता यूनिवर्सिटी की शोध टीम ने एक मशीन-लर्निंग सिस्टम विकसित किया है, जो फर्जी जॉब विज्ञापनों की पहचान कर सकता है। अंग्रेजी, हिंदी और बंगाली डेटासेट पर प्रशिक्षित यह प्रणाली असामान्य वेतन, अस्पष्ट विवरण और संदिग्ध विदेशी रोजगार के विज्ञापनों को तुरंत चिन्हित करती है।
अमृता विश्वविद्यापीठम में पीजी प्रोग्राम्स की डीन डॉ. कृष्णश्री अच्युतन ने कहा कि कई स्कैम मैसेज उन लोगों द्वारा भेजे जाते हैं जिन्हें साइबर अपराध के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है। ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड और मानव तस्करी दोनों से निपटने के लिए मजबूत जागरूकता और तकनीक आधारित सुरक्षा उपायों की सख्त जरूरत है।
