‘भारत रत्न’ पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी का आज निधन हो गया है. सोमवार शाम को 84 साल की उम्र में प्रणब मुखर्जी ने अंतिम सांस ली. वो पिछले कई दिनों से बीमार थे और दिल्ली के आर्मी अस्पताल में भर्ती थे. बता दे बीते दिनों प्रणब मुखर्जी कोरोना पॉजिटिव भी पाए गए थे, वही उनकी सर्जरी भी हुई थी.
कोरोना संक्रमित पाए गए पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी की हालत पिछले कुछ दिनों से गंभीर बनी हुई थी। वे धौला कुआं स्थित आर्मी आरआर (रिसर्च एंड रेफरल) अस्पताल की आइसीयू में भर्ती थे। उनके शरीर में रक्त का संचार बना हुआ था लेकिन हालत में सुधार नहीं नहीं हो रहा था और वो वेंटीलेटर पर ही थे। जिसके बाद आज उनके निधन की खबर ने देश को स्तंब्ध छोड़ दिया है।
